Crystal Janeiro is a Bexa Senior Examiner & Instructor, and an ARDMS breast registered sonographer. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Crystal has more than 20 years of experience in patient care and diagnostic sonography.
Crystal has a diverse background in the healthcare and research industry including leadership, protocol creation, education, training and multi-site management. Crystal has created de novo ultrasound labs for multi-million dollar NIH-funded research studies as well as private businesses and hospitals. With special interest in the patient advocacy/customer care experience she has a lifelong commitment to the customer experience and a passion for innovation and new technology.
Prior to being a Sonographer Crystal was a professional Patient Advocate who often spoke throughout the community regarding many health topics including advanced directives and organ/tissue donation. She has served on many interdisciplinary committees dealing with tough issues such as palliative care, nonviolent crisis intervention and cultural diversity.
