Mike’s current role is President and CEO of a local North Carolina growth fund focused on identifying and securing capital for healthcare technology companies looking for entry into the health plan, health system and life science market segments. He is an accomplished healthcare executive leading successful growth teams for multiple companies including health plans (Provident Life & Accident, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Anthem), specialty companies focused on disease management, medical device, genetics, precision medicine, clinical trials, etc., all with successful exits.
Mike has worked in a leadership capacity for both health plans and health systems, which gives him a unique perspective in how to best understand the needs of both the payer and the provider. He has been an invited speaker at multiple industry conferences and holds a B.A. from Minnesota State University.
