Natalie Alvarez

Advisor

Natalie Alvarez has a passion and track record for shepherding transformative change within both small and large organizations.

She started her career on Wall Street, first in Investment Banking in the Global Consumer and Retail group at Morgan Stanley and then in Strategy, Corporate Development, and Investor Relations at ING U.S. (now Voya Financial). In these roles, she worked alongside senior management to develop and execute financial and strategic initiatives including two IPOs, a continuous improvement effort, a divestiture, and a full rebranding.

Given her longstanding interest in solving challenges for healthcare providers and their patients, she pivoted to healthcare and went on to deliver business development and operational improvement plans for executives at top academic medical centers including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, UCLA Health, and Emory Healthcare. Most recently, she has held executive-level leadership positions at early-stage healthcare technology startups (including a patient access software company and a UV disinfection device company) that resulted in successful exits in 2021.

She continues to consult for founders and investors in the healthcare technology and consumer product spaces. Natalie received her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead-Cain Scholar, and an MBA/MPH from Columbia University.
